Just in case that truth was lost in the euphoria

That really highlights how much more important qb is than any other position

On paper this is the most balanced team in damn near 30 year if (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is competent.

They can easily make a run under the 2015 Denver Broncos model and I think Mack+Floyd > Miller+Ware.

Dolphin dropping the knowledge that QB play is very important in today's NFL.

I guess the team will be good if you think he can make Mitch as good as Alex Smith.

They're a top 3 NFC team IF he's Alex Smith.

Well, Mope Francis, it seems that the knowledge wasn’t apparent to all bears fans from my observations of the heightened expectations over the weekend

I think that it was factored in. We believe in Nagy and his staff.

This guy gets it.

Nobody outside of Chicago is talking 12-4 with this team

Is that supposed to be a bad thing? Who had the Eagles and Vikings being the 2 best teams in the NFC last season?

And few outside of Wisconsin are taking the Packers to play in the Super Bowl.

That's not true. They have the 6th best odds to win the SB out of every team in the league.

This is partially true. He just has to be competent though.

If he limits turnovers and makes enough 10-30 yard throws to keep defenses from stacking the box that will be plenty. Any more than that and the Bears will be almost unstoppable.

But honestly we know nothing what Nagy's offense will be like. So who knows.

I think that we kinda have an idea that it will be a 21st century offense that isn't predictable.

Wasn't that what Matt Cavanaugh's offense was supposed to be as well?

I'll wait and see what it actually looks like but I feel confident (hopeful?) that (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky can be Alex Smith.

There’s other good teams too ya know. Bears don’t have nearly enough top level talent to approach the unstoppable label.

If only they could find their Blake Martinez

It's usually a good start.

Alex Smith has become a very good QB. He's not elite but he is very good.

My nightmare is that Nagy was not, in fact, holding back during the pre season.

Mack can be good for 4 extra wins and the Bears will still finish below .500. Nothing that happened last season or on this preseason has given me cause to think that Mitch is an above average QB.

Another genius who thinks he saw all he needed to see in like 15 preseason snaps.

Its like when Tall Midget gave up on (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky after he threw a couple interceptions in practice.
