I said before a friend of mine’s husband dies in less than a year from aggressive ALS. It isn’t pretty.

So I went looking for the Me Mongo t-shirts and they aren't available. I did find plenty of Team Mongo t-shirts, but those are other sites and any money spent won't go to him/his care. So be wary. This is the site that he said (in the Trib) is his site...

My friend's husband died last year or so from ALS so I see a lot of event posts. This pic was being used to raise money or sell tix for an even to help Mongo.

I think we all have an idea of what ALS does. I don't think that picture is helpful. I definitely wouldn't want to be remembered that way.

I think he's showing he's going to fight until the last breath. Not something 99% of us would do.

There's two diseases(that I know of anyway) that I would stick a gun in my mouth while I could, and McMichael's is one of them.

Looks like he is still able to communicate, see the feeding tube and vent, he's a strong guy, but hoping he has clearly communicated when he wants to stop supportive measures and pass on his own terms at home.
