I am all in on trading for DK Metcalf as long as any first round pick given up is for 2024. Even with his foot injury. I have no interest in giving up draft capital and giving Terry McLaurin a big contract.

In general I am against trading away more first round picks. But if you are going to do it then getting back a 24 yr old stud in return would be good.

Belichick was walking his trash out to the curb and Ryan Poles pulled up and offered Bill $100 for the bag of trash.

A former first rounder who has potential. There were going to be several teams interested in him if he was cut. So it is perfectly reasonable to give up the lowest compensation possible in order to not have to deal with negotiating against other teams.

Who was interested in N'Keal Harry? Pats been trying to ship him out of town for 2 years. Harry is 6 months younger than Velus Jones, so there's that. But 3 seasons, 3 QB's, including the GOAT QB and Harry compiles squat for stats. It's like Ryan Poles paid Belichick a 7th rounder for the privilege of the Bears cutting Harry from their roster instead of the Patriots.

I am sure you have a good handle on the fact that no team other than the Bears was interested in a former first round pick.
