Will break Johnny Morris all time receiving record for the Bears. Per Danny Parkins.

In all seriousness, if he means that then he also is all in on Fields. Otherwise that would mean another wasted year followed by another draft pick and 3 year learning curve.

So... did parkins explain how Fields will have enough time to get the ball to him?

Clearly he would get open quickly as the defense will be paying more attention to Pringle and Velus.

someone mentioned this to him and he did say that could be a potential problem.

But his argument was based on Fields and Mooney having a growing connection with each other and there being plenty of garbage time in 2nd halfs of games the next two years where Mooney will get a lot of empty yards.

That's a shame. He bought me a beer Sunday.

Very possibly.

But surely at some point a WR has to break Morris record. He has 5,059 yds. Mooney currently has 1686 in 2 years. So he needs roughly 3,400 yds more in his Bears career to pass that record. I would say if he is healthy that is a pretty doable thing. But obviously with the Bears there are a lot of things that can go wrong.

So how did you get a Beer from Parkins?

It was a Twitter mob thing at the sox game on Sunday. He venmo'd a couple hundred to someone to buy everyone a beer.

Ah very cool. I heard him mention that on the show this week. I am surprised you accepted it since you were so upset at his sink drain situation.

For 10 minutes he was. Can't clear drains though. That's a negative. Also the oj thing with a pregnant wife was distressing. But you buy me a beer who knows what I'll do for you.

Well I'm not catty so I'd never relay his story about how he had his pregnant wife bring him breakfast in bed with fresh squeezed oj rather than just the store bought shit.

We've had a few really good/great receivers; I can't believe that none of them played well long enough to pass that record.

Yup, it seemed Alshon was a lock before his relationship with the team soured.

You would just need a guy to average a little over 1000 yards for five years, it really is amazing that the Bears career receiving record is that low given the pass happy nature of the league, yet another indictment of the McKaskey families ineptitude, it would seem they would have stumbled upon a competent GM at some point who could actually draft a QB or WR. The list has guys they had to sign to cover up draft failures like Robinson and Marshall who had solid years, and would likely have broken the record easily, but were a bit older when they signed them.

Muhsin Muhammad was right. Chicago is where wide receivers go to die.

Parkins and Spiegel were talking to Ostrowski the other day after the NFL prop odds came out for the upcoming season, and Fields was dead last in almost every category. I think Joe O. said the o/u for interceptions was 14.5 and 16.5 for TDs. Gonna be a long year.

OJ thing with a pregnant wife? I must have missed that. Whats that?

Well I'm not catty so I'd never relay his story about how he had his pregnant wife bring him breakfast in bed with fresh squeezed oj rather than just the store bought shit.

 Ah ok. When I read "OJ thing" my mind went immediately to OJ simpson

Why? Do you want to kill your wife? I could be your Kato if you need one.

I see you more as an Al Cowlings.

That is so.... fucking sexy man. I'm rock hard.
You know who he is, dammit!

Cole Kmet is going to get there first
855 career yards, half of what Mooney has over the same timeframe. I'll take the under on Kmet getting to 5,000 career yards as a Bear or otherwise.
