Always appreciate input from a cheerleader of the football team that has been an embarrassment for pretty much the last decade.

I don't think jetlag will stop the ass whooping. Justin Jefferson may have a Terrell Owens game with Vildor and Twinkle Gordon covering him.

Through the first four games this season the bears have the 5th fewest passes attempted in the last 50 years of any team.

Anytime the Bears face a team with a competent quarterback and running back it's going to be hard to keep them under 30 points. Vikings 31- Bears 13.

Word out of Lake Forest is that Uberflush is so afraid of getting blown out due to offensive mistakes and turnovers that he has demanded that Getsy punt the ball on first down. Even though he has no role in this offensive game plan, Fields will still find a way to get sacked and overthrow a receiver on a swing pass.

Vikings 78
Bears 1

The Eagles gave the Bears the template for beating the Vikings. But, unless Eberflus decides to blitz more than normal, it might be a tough day. The Vikings defense can be run on and Fields could connect on some deep throws...

But, I give the edge to the Vikings being at home...

Bears 13

Vikings sign former Bear cut in August. Hoping to pick up info on that tricky HITS defense I guess.

Tom Pelissero
@TomPelissero
The #Vikings are signing nose tackle Khyiris Tonga off the #Falcons’ practice squad, per source.

Fields might have more time than in recent games...

Overall, the Vikings defense ranks 29th in pressure rate (26.8 percent), per TruMedia.

The Vikings are allowing 8.4 yards per play when they blitz and 5.77 yards per play when they don’t.

On the other hand.

Fortunately for the Vikings, this weekend’s opponents, the Bears, rank 31st in the league in pressure rate allowed (48.5 percent).

Dalvin Cook will either run for 200 yards or leave during the first quarter after suffering a severe paper cut.

It would be offensive malpractice if they didn't throw the ball to Jefferson at least 20 times.

The Vikings are better than the Bears but not that much better. With the help of turnovers I see the Bears winning 27-21. Midge, pass me some of that vodka...

Who's going to cover Jefferson?

Who's going to tackle Dalvin Cook?

Who's going to pressure Cousins?

This is going to be really bad.

Vikings 31
Bears 16

Kirk Cousins is an all-pro quarterback when games start at noon. You can't even expect him to prime time this game.

He's also really good when he doesn't have to move his feet a lot. The Bears aren't getting much pressure up the middle or from the edges. Gipson, Muhammad and Quinn are rumors at this point.

Yeah, it looks like Robert Quinn is checked out again, back to his 2020 form.

As predicted.

Vikings Oline is weak up the middle. Bradbury is a slightly better Mustipher.

Muhammed is stealing money, noticing that Robinson is getting more snaps earlier in games, he is raw as hell and he along with the other defensive rooks are getting schooled each and every week. Hard to tell who is responsible for what gap because guys are so out of position on almost every play it makes you question if they actually practiced or watched game film. The Bears lack of outside contain has continued from the previous DC, nobody sets the edge and that makes it easy for teams to play action and bootleg them to death, odd because as a DE you know you have outside contain and cannot get turned inside and keep your outside arm free, this concept is taught from pop warner on up.

The funny thing about the HITS thing is that you should see guys flying to the ball, but that is hard to do when your laying on your back after you got pancaked, do have to give Kyler Gordon credit for his trail technique speed and for his "oh crap" look when he realized he just got beat.

I've got cook, I'm thinking 95 yards rushing and a TD, 4 catches for 35 yards and a TD. Big game
