Yep, they literally had no chance to win after that. None. Zero. Zip. Zilch. No kicker in the history of the game has ever made 48 yard XP. Also no kicker has ever made a 32 yard FG in OT. Sure, cutting Pinero seems like the easy decision, but maybe they should cut Moore.

The XP without the 15 yard penalty would be from 33 yards. Pinero missed a 33 yarder in OT so he’s entirely capable of missing from that distance, that’s why he’s not in the Bears anymore. Moore’s still an idiot for getting the penalty and I’m not excusing him any more than I’m excusing Pinero for missing a chip shot. The loss isn’t 100% on either of them.

I want to see some more info on Moore other than the stats that anyone can look up and interpret how they please.

1. Why did Carolina want to get rid of a young, productive and reasonably priced talent at WR?
2. What would trading him after the league year starts vs when they did? Are the Bears on the hook for a bunch of bonus shit that they wouldn't have been if they made this deal a week from now?

From what i read, Poles insisted that Moore be a part of the deal or it wasn't going to happen. History will prove him right or wrong, but you can't argue with the draft haul they got...especially since taking Moore away from that team ostensibly increases your next years 1st rd. pick from them
