The table is SET of the bears want a new qb. If they can scape up a couple first rounders for fields (which I’m skeptical of) and they love young they should do it.

Trade the pick and Fields for more picks. Take Levin or Richardson later in the first round.

Smart move by the Texans. You want the Bears and Jets, if possible, picking ahead of you at the top of the draft cuz you know they'll draft the worst QB's in the draft and you can feel safe taking any remaining QB's that they'll be better than whomever the Bears or Jets drafted.

I wouldt draft young if you don’t trade fields. Don’t need that headache when you are building a team.

Trade with Texans.. then trade the #2 pick and acquire as much as you can. I really think that’s the best option right now. Fields can be good if they build around him.

I’m not entirely opposed to trading Fields and drafting Young tho either.. like I said a couple weeks ago in one of the game threads -the Bears need to at least put a large amount of scouting into Young and so on if they’re going to be in this position.

I saw the Bears strength of schedule final rating and it was the toughest and it wasn't even close. Is that right?

Trade with Seattle. Get their 3 and 20 and a 2nd rounder for this year and the next.

Hopefully, some team is desperate enough to trade up to draft Bryce Young. Then, the Bears can get Anderson or Carter.

Last time the Bears picked 1/1 they took a guy who retired after 10 games.

Hopefully this one sticks.

Geno Smith isn't their answer. He's going to be 33 next year.

Draft the top QB, let Smith play another year or less as they develop their guy. Win-win.

If they can pull it off I’d like to see 2 trades.. I’d also role with Anderson over Carter due to production.. tho Carter is a better fit for our defense.

That said, there’s only a couple receivers I like in this draft and the drop off after them is steep.. but Johnston and Addison (and maybe a healthy Njigba) have potential to be stars.. and you have to build around Fields now. So, grabbing Carter or Anderson might not be the best idea tbh because you’ll miss the couple of receivers this draft does have.

And I like Carter and Anderson a lot.. but this is a offensive league. We had Mack, Quinn, Hicks, and Smith all together a year ago (and before) and it didn’t mean anything for wins. Anderson and Carter are luxury items as far as I’m concerned at this point -they need to build around their QB right now.

How come no one has mentioned trading the pick? You could get more picks.

I think Bryce Young is taken with the first pick by the Colts. The Bears end up at #5

You have to trade Fields. It is highly unlikely the Bears will win the Super Bowl in the next 3 years. As Hussra pointed out, you have to win a Super Bowl with a quarterback on a rookie deal. Tom Brady is the exception to this rule, and he gave the Patriots and Buccaneers team friendly discounts.

Trade Fields and get a couple of first round picks and some other picks. Trade the #1 pick and stay in the top 5.

Draft Levis/Richardson and Anderson/Carter

If fields is not the guy, we’ll be back here again in two years

With all these suggestions I firmly believe we will trade fields and our first 3 picks will be busts and we go 1-17 next year

So we'd lose the playoff game?

The division is going to be bad next year.
