Appears that Poles hated the linebacker group he inherited as much as the o line if not more because he certainly threw a bunch of paper at that group.

You are still incredibly susceptible to the run game, but maybe that doesn't matter in the current NFL, you have two LB's that can cover and close on short passes which allows you to play more base Cover-2 and drop you CB's, but of course if you don't generate any pressure it will not matter because good QB's will just wait for the deeper routes to develop.

Heard a Buffalo guy talk about how Edmunds is not real physical at the point of attack, but it would seem a 4.5 6' 5" 240 pound guy is a bit more effective hitting the A gap than a 4.5 6' 230 pound guy.

Tackles is such a meaningless stat. Most were 5-7 yards beyond the LOS. I didn't notice any of them all game.

I thought the Bears were going for some sort "zig while everyone else zags" thing with the off-ball linebacker position, which these days is every bit as undervalued as runningback. Nah, turns out they just have no idea what they are doing.
