Tensions between the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Denver, locked in a bitter rivalry, boiled over in 1919 when the Orediggers heard of a plot to deface the M. Brisker sounds like he already has CTE. I would worry if he was asked to remember anything beyond his name. Scott strikes me as a bright guy, so I won't read much into it

It seems like there could be a couple problems here. Is the offense too complicated for the receivers, or is it not being taught well enough? Alternately, how do you not know what to do on a basic bubble screen play when that has been a focal point for several weeks during training camp?

I wouldn't read too much into it either if it weren't a seemingly recurring problem for the Bears. They still don't look smooth enough on screen plays in general, and Scott's confusion on this play in particular is a problem since (as you said) he seems like a very smart guy and Getsy has emphasized screens so much in practice. Does Getsy know what he is doing?

I think so. Beyond Fields, there's a lot of questions on offense that haven't been answered. I thought we may lose Morgan after this year, but the offensive line hasn't looked good.

Mooney not knowing Scott's responsibility concerns me more.

If it gets you into a good school you otherwise wouldn't get accepted to, it is a good tradeoff. I don't know if that is true with any of these schools.

Houston-Carson was cut by the ravens. I would like to have him back. I don't like our S depth. He was usually pretty good in spot situations and great at special teams

Lawson was a FA this offseason and would be the Bears best defensive lineman(low bar). It's amazing how bad this defensive line is despite an offseason of cap space and draft picks. Quite a feat by Ryan Poles.

Feeney might be their best lineman now

Poles is a former offensive lineman so he should be an expert in that area. He signed Lucas Patrick who's done squat and he signed Nate Davis who apparently doesn't like football, and now he panicked and traded a pick for a guy who was going to be released. What a clown show

He also seemed to do try his hardest last summer to alienate Jenkins, who was probably their best lineman last season.

I don't want to bitch too much, because we needed the help on the line. Sixth seems steep for a person in this situation. However, he is exactly the kind of person they needed with starting experience at both guard (specifically left guard) and center

Doesn't this also scream the injuries on the line are worse than they are leading on to? As bad as Leatherwood was, don't you still prefer him to whoever was out there the last three weeks?

The priority of this offseason was signing off the ball linebackers that will be on their ass most of this game behind this div 2 defensive line. Poles has an odd approach to roster construction to say the least.

Unless Fields or Bagent shocks the world, we are headed for a top 3 or 4 pick in the draft. The problem is that Arizona is tanking harder than the Bears, so it seems like it will be impossible to get Caleb Williams.
