He's the problem. George hired Eberfluss with his mother's blessing. George passed over Lovie Smith to hire Matt Eberfluss. I have proof because he wrote me back praising Eberfluss while saying the Lovie Smith was a great coach.
It should be only about football judgment and, unfortunately, George does not have it. That means no one in the family currently has it. And when George and the McCaskeys have hired people that are supposed to have good football judgment in Pace and Poles, they have failed with them as well. They just don't know how to find football people and refuse to hire any old Bears players to help them. That's unbelievable.
Why isn't any former player a special advisor to the team? There so many of them. Hall-of-Famers. Choose Dick Butkus, Ditka, O'B, anybody!
I heard Butkus recently on a radio commercial with the Score. He's available, Bears, and is only No. 10 on the all-time NFL Greatest Players List. Don't you think he knows who a good player and coach is?
