Poles has also been far more complimentary of Bagent than he has been of Fields.

The Vikings ran a similar play later on in the game where an unblocked rusher came free and all Cousins did was loft the ball over his head to either to tight end or the back that was in the area that the rusher came from. Every team draws up plays that leaves someone unblocked who will come at the quarterback. It’s only unfair when they do it to Justin Fields.

This is the same defensive scheme that Buffalo used to annihilate Fields in his second preseason game as a rookie. He took a devastating hit on that play because he couldn't recognize the blitz off the edge, and he still can't identify the blitz 2+ years later.
