I am not an avid college football fan, but I haven't been impressed with the little I've seen from Maye and Williams. Maye often stares down his receivers and was all over the place last night. Williams holds the ball longer than Fields and is a midget.

I am in the same boat. I have not been overly impressed with any of them. Bo Nix has been the most impressive to me in the games I have watched, but then I read about his problems processing and that sounds awful. So who the fuck knows? I was not impressed at all with Stroud in college either and he looks like an All Pro for the next 10 years.

I didn't watch the game yesterday, so I can't speak to his performance. That said, one game doesn't make a player. I did watch the game last week and Maye made clutch play after clutch play. Seeing quarterbacks have success in less than ideal circumstances is encouraging to me.

He can also throw some head scratching interceptions. The kid has a shit defense, bad offensive line, and mediocre talent around him on offense. It's why I love him. He gets rid of the ball quickly, he's not afraid of the moment, he has a big arm, he's athletic, great height for a passer, he's a year younger than Williams, and he's not an annoying diva.

Remember hearing the WSCR hosts make fun of the Lions coach while praising the "smart fans coach" Nagy, really is amazing how far the stations Bears and NFL coverage has been allowed to decline over the past few years.

I think Nagy could win with this Lions team. IMO, they wouldn't lose a game with a healthy Mahomes or Burrow. The talent is what makes me reluctant to jump on the Ben Johnson Train with TEA.
