Think the Bears could pull off another trade similar to the Panthers one in 2023? Keep Fields and trade the #1 pick to the Raiders to get their 2024 first round and second round, 2025 first and second round, plus Davante Adams. If Fields is still the problem next year, you have the Raiders picks to draft a QB into an organization that should be on an upwards trend. Use the additional draft capital from the Raiders on picks to continue bolstering OL and DL.

There is nothing wrong with bolstering the lines. The Raiders would be a nice fit as they need a QB badly.

I was just thinking Adams would be easier to trade given the contract.

If they want Caleb they will give him up

Adams will cause locker room problems if he's not getting targets

Bears fans have completely lost their minds.

Fields isn't very good. It's time to move on.

Mike Tirico: Welcome to Monday Night Football from snowy Aurora, Illinois, as we close out the 2083 NFL season. Lots of juicy story lines to discuss here, Chris, chief amongst them is 83 year old Justin Field's continued growth at the QB position. Has he shown enough progress over the course of the last few decades to convince management that he's the long awaited franchise QB, or should they part ways and start over next year?

Chris: Yeah it's a super interesting problem if you're an Aurora Bears fan, Mike. You've got basically four quarters left to complete your evaluation. Management has reportedly stated that two good throws tonight is sufficient to move forward with Fields into the future. However, if Fields performance tonight is kind of meh, it may cloud the decision making process.

Just wait until his upcoming slightly above average performance against what’s supposed to be a
good defense that is injured af . The cult will start thinking you can get three first rounders for him because he played OK against a “great“ defense.

Rubbish. He is at a minimum a franchise quarterback for a play-off team. Right now, the Bear's are an average to good team which plays in a weak division. Next year they also look like they will have a very big improvement as a result of their draft and free agent potential.

The future is clear to me except for what they decided to do with the coaching staff. Ideally, I want Harbaugh and a new OC in and if keep Eberflus as assistant HC and DC, that would be fine with me if it is fine with he and Harbaugh.

The trade that Poles made was unique. I don't think we can expect to land #1 picks every season, get another team's best offensive/defensive player, and other future draft assets.

He's not very good, but keep him as a game manager next year. Build up the line some more with another receiver. You get a bunch of picks to make the team more competitive. Then in 2025 you have the picks, find a QB that you can bring in to a good situation where he can flourish. At that time, trade Fields because you can probably still get some draft capital for him.

The lines and the offense will be good enough for a rookie quarterback to have success. The Bears have enough draft capital and money to spend in free agency to close the few remaining holes on offense. Besides, the 2025 class is really light when it comes to quarterbacks. Now is the time to draft your quarterback for the next 15 years.

Packer fans tune into the bears to watch an exciting QB. That's all I need to know. And also we should trade him.

Was there something wrong with the Vikings, and Lions defense the last three weeks? I didn't think so. No interceptions in more than three weeks and a good qb rating for a nice series of games. He's doing just peachy. Do you watch any of the games or just mail it in with negativity?

Hilarious. who pray tell is this new Patrick Mahomes? Mark my words. If you trade Fields, he will be a all-pro qb and the slug you replaced him with will fail and the Bear's will once again go back to the toilet.

So does Trevor Lawrence. He does need to clean that up. Its a process.

The Lions & Vikings defenses are trash against the pass, yet Fields managed to complete 58% with his dink and dunk in the last game. He has also only had a rating above 90 once in the last 3 games, so good is a bit of a stretch.

The Lions’ defense sucks outright. The offense put up 12 points against the Vikings.
