Sounds good for CFMB narrative purposes but most of the "great" QBs are such because they rarely face pressure. Thus your point is moot.

No

Yeah Tom Brady was known for his ability to throw under "duress" all of the time. So was Brees

Shouldn't the Bears "vaunted" Defense be expected to hold a 17 point lead in the 4th however? Just Asking A Question

Both were known for an ability to quickly read a defense and get the ball out on time, accurately and to the right spot. Brady, Manning, Mahomes, etc.…these guys help lines by not hanging onto the ball waiting for guys to come open.

Fields is a Cutler in this aspect of the game.

He’s doing a bit, man.

Packer fan who wants to see more of Fields is not your ally here.

Coaches setup some of these blown leads too. Look at what just happened. 2nd and 4, 5:15 left. 3 straight runs to get 4 yards and game would be pretty much over. Even if they get stuffed, it’s under 4 min left. Instead, 2 pass calls, and still 5:00 left and Falcons have ball

I agree, who should present him in Canton?

They rarely had people in their face from the time of the snap. Fields always had people in his face at the time of the snap. Has little to do with "reading" defenses as much as it had to do with having shitty blocking.

Not this year. His line is average at worst.

Only Lamar and Russ hold the ball longer before throwing. He doesn’t anticipate, he sees guys open and throws. Same thing Cutty did.

He's been under more duress from the snap this game than you'd typically see from Brady, Brees or even Mahomes.

Not at all true. Look at that fumble before the break and tell me you’re not watching a guy who hangs onto the ball forever.

You have to be trolling. He's had a good 5 seconds to pass on nearly every dropback today. Brady and Brees could process quickly; Fields can't. His biggest supporters generally concede that.

They took 3 step drops and he takes 5-7 step drops. And guys with his scrambling ability have always been taught to hold the ball longer. That's hardly just a Justin Fields thing.

His pockets has collapsed more in 2 years than Brady and Brees did in 20.

Why was Fields throwing at the 2 minute warning? Was it retaliation because the Falcons called timeout?

I don’t want to see Fields get hurt but I would have LOVED to see Eberflus explain that play. Almost disastrous.

Yeah I bring Fields back. Draft MHJ, sign a couple of linemen in free agency and the Bears should roll next year.

They spent 3 seasons developing this kid. No way I'm giving up on him to draft a rookie QB that may or may not be a bust.

Not as certain about them. They blow too many leads and have screwed Fields over imo but I'd hate to can them just when things seemed to have clicked. But again I'm nowhere near the guru that used to be
Play calling is far too Conservative but I'd give them one more year. Mostly because of the way they have developed players other than Fields.

I can see the argument for it. Trade down slightly to 2-3 for 3 first round picks. Draft Harrison. Continue with two first rounders three years in row, which gives you a chance to kick the fan down the road while fields is still cheap

As for me, I think I’d move him if I can get a 25 one and a 24 two

Why does everyone want to move on from Braxton Jones? The kid has played well and he's durable.

Not me.

But keep drafting lineman and high if someone is there
