Using a late 4th round pick on a punter is a sign Poles believes we're entering championship mode. I just watched some of Tory's highlights, and the kid is an absolute stud. He has the swagger to go with it. Offenses will need to go 90+ yards to score against the Bears more frequently than ever.

I wanted a center, but none were going to start this year. You can't pair a rookie quarterback and a rookie center. If Bates doesn't work out, we'll have to try again. I wonder if we'll kick the tires on Connor Williams.

You are going to love Tory Taylor.

I already do, mate. Swagger like Mick Jagger.

Yeah, it sucks that the offense looks like it's going to be good because I wanted to see as many booming punts as possible next year. Bring back Fields?

We can have a Fields Day in the preseason so we can see this kid work.

CHEAP
I disagree because it is really CHEAP INSURANCE. Particularly for a team with a rookie quarterback with a questionable oline. They were hurting all last year with bad field position.

I agree the the o line is questionable in spots, but isn’t the remedy to draft, you know, a guy that plays o line? Especially when your 1/1 pick was a QB.

Dude will be punting a shit ton if Williams is concussed in week 5.

They did draft a lineman in round 3 after using their first pick last year and a decent sized FA signing on the group. They drafted a starting left tackle, albeit getting lucky finding him in the fifth, 2 years ago.

Look, the numbers are right there for you.

I'm a big believer in the boom to shank ratio.

They also had a center last year who quite literally could not snap the ball, so that’s a thing.
