It's going to be a meatball fest enough meatballs to supply a spaggheti restaurant for a decade.

Well, the end of civilization is upon us. The Bears and Packers will meet in the NFC Championship game. It's been a while, considering they've played the most games against each other. I for one am excited, and disturbed. This has the components of bringing out the absolute worst in society, and potentially, the not as bad of society.

Get excited for this game. It could be a once in a lifetime experience. Halas v Lombardi (not Matt). Nitschke v Butkus. McMahon v Charles Martin. However, do your best to at least act educated during the next week.

When Joan from the office is telling me we need more line stunts. When my mailman is asking what I think of beating the fudge packers. I'm going to do my best to provide them with real information. If you feel you are one of those people, take a step back.

Cheer for your team. Don't hate the other. Not everyone that's a Packers fan is missing teeth. Just the majority. Not every Packers fan earned their season tickets with animal violation. It's like, maybe 56%.

All in all, I kid, I kid. The Packers lost six opening day starters to the IR, and 12 in total. The Bears coaching staff made an amazing turn around at the bye week, to possibly be the best team in the NFC. Let's celebrate what our teams have done, talk some shit, and enjoy. Oh, and I hear you can still watch the Super Bowl, even if you aren't in it. I didn't want to scare any Green Bay fans.

BEARS!!!!!!!!!

The way the Packers are playing, I expected a six point spread.

Bears suck

theyve been so spoiled and have no business hosting a championship game

people think its a Sham that Seattle was in the playoffs, I dont think so, i thought it was kinda cool

whats really a sham is the Bears hosting the NFC Championship game and still havent played an winning team in the playoffs, and only 2 road games the entire year against winning teams (and lost both)

its sad they could goto the SuperBowl when so many better teams deserved the home games more

The Bears are this year's 1985 Patriots...ready to be shellacked if they make the Super Bowl

Dan Hampton said it best today: nobody on the Bears offense would be a starter on Green Bay's offense...that says it all

The #2 seed at home -vs- the #6 seed should not be a dog...especially a 6 point dog.

This is all nonsense except for the last line of your post, with the exception of Forte of course.

theres no formula for it

the Bears still havent proven themselves this year, the Packers have

Packers: 6-3 against winning teams, 4-3 on the road
Bears: 3-3 against winning teams, 0-2 on the road (and the Eagles were missing both starting corners that game)

New member here guys.

I agree with whistler about the point spread. The Bears, OUR Bears, have gotten a lot of breaks this year and even yesterday they were a Jekyll and Hyde team. Unbelievable, unbeatable in the first half, and then they crapped their pants in the second half. Next Sunday, if the Bears play like they did in the first half, there isn't a team that can beat them. If they play like they did in the second half, they will get their heads handed to them on a silver platter by Rodgers.
