My guy Jim Harbaugh sent Kreutz a contract Wednesday night, & the 49ers offer is much better than what the Bears discussed with Olin. I'm not sure why Harbaugh is hell bent on signing Kreutz. Maybe he thinks Olin can help Alex Smith? I don't think anyone can help him at this point. Maybe Harbaugh wants to stick it to the Bears? Despite the fact that Kreutz's skills are in decline, losing him now makes an already bad Offensive line worse.

According to the Trib today, Olin has no other offer and the Bears and him are only $500,000 apart. Olin started at $5 mill and the Bears at $3 mill. The Bears came up to $4 mil but Olin only came down to $4.5 mil. That may be where it ends...
