Had nowhere else to put this, but that was one hell of a way to kick start this game for the Saints with a blocked punt TD!

The role of Paul Crewe is being played by Michael Vick.

All of us here can be cynical bastards at time--myself included. But I was really happy for the people of New Orleans. No it doesn't solve all of there problems but they had a couple hours of joy. I thought Green Day was awesome.

I thought U2 was awesome. Yes, both bands were great. This has been a really fun game to watch so far with the Saints looking like animals.

You know Spike Lee wanted to call George Bush a racist but he bit his tongue. Mike Tirico seemed a little uncomfortable there. He thought "uh oh, here is one of those moments."

Man that Vick is awesome. He cuts like Barry Sanders but he's faster then Barry. Most electric runner I've ever seen. I wasn't around for Sayers but I've seen the footage. Maybe they are equal.

If you had an NFL team would you want Vick as your quarterback? There are a lot of arguments for and against him.

I'd make Vick a receiver and get ridiculed for it

Awesome, awesom game tonight. Now the Saints are first place in the NFC South all alone. Who the hell would have thought that after three weeks. Awesome stuff. Here's hoping they continue to do well.

You could do a WHOLE hell of a lot worse than Michael Vick my friend; I'd take him any day of the god damned week.

Don't get me wrong he's not a top 10 "quarterback". I was just describing him as a runner. Maybe they should make him a running back/receiver. I don't think he would ever agree to that. I worry for him. He's gonna blow out a knee one day. It's just a matter of time. Especially playing all those games on artificial turf.

I wouldn't want him as my QB. Nothing against him but you can do a lot better. He is not even close to a guy like Randle Cunningham. How long will he be able to use his legs the way he can now? He has a nice arm but has zero accuracy. He is one of the most overrated players in the league. He really isn't a quarterback. I can't believe he has a $100M contract.

I couldn't agree with you more, Nas. He is an amazing talent, to be sure, but a quarterback's job description includes throwing, and after watching football for a long time, I have come to believe that accuracy is the paramount factor in determining throwing success. Vick has poor accuracy, by NFL standards. No matter how well he runs the ball, he is hobbled as a quarterback so long as his accuracy remains as poor as it is. His play is exciting, but in the end, it doesn't justify the hype.

By the way, why wont this goddamn board recognize quotes when the names are used?

He really isn't that good throwing the ball. Is he a winner? Yes he is but most of it comes with his legs. He is one of the worse throwing QB's in the league. If he couldn't run with the ball he wouldn't even be in the league.

Others: "Vick has Barry Sanders' legs!"

Me: "And his arm."
