Watching the Packers stuff and they all say the focus is on stopping the run and making Mitch...err...Justin play QB, sound like the exact same game plan they have had against the Bears for the past 5 seasons.

Monumental mismatches in the Packers favor on both lines, the Pack will likely pound the middle of the Bears D line all day long until they prove they can stop it, and attacking the A gap. Fields should have plenty of chances to hit open guys with the Pack D crowding the box, if they can protect at all he could have a big day.

Interesting to hear the Bears validate what I have been saying about the Bears DE play, basically admitting that the guys they had there last year were terrible and could not even carry out the basic assignment of filling their assigned gap. Will the dudes they have brought in be any better, it would be hard to be worse.

Let's hope Edmunds has his sleeves, hair, and shoes done up right to start the game because he is going to get a steady diet of Jones and Dillon coming right at him all game long and will likely be covered in grass stains, dirt, and blood by halftime, we will see right away if throwing paper at MLB instead of DT was the right move.

This is the first test to see if Fields has progressed, it will come down to him making a few plays, not taking sacks, and limiting his turnovers, but that will be the story all year long.
