Pretty sure I saw him getting in his car in front of Chase Bank on Clark near Halsted. It changed my life so it must have been him.

Hendry's Cubs were the most successful cubs in about 60 years.


3 playoff appearances in 7 years should be statue worthy for that team

Hendry essentially set himself to be the hero or the villian. He never looked at the future and decided to go for it every single year. He came close but failed. If he wins or even gets to a WS he is one of the greatest GMs this city has ever seen.

As much as he screwed the team in the long run at least I had hope some seasons...
