14 mil a year for a guy that should be a backup is a bad deal. There are guys making much less i.e. Niko and Randle for example that are much more productive.

That Dieng contract as well as Wiggins are terrible deals too. Rose might just save that dude's bacon. That would be quite the irony.

He was nowhere near as good as Randle last year and I wonder how you factor "productive" into it. His Numbers for a starting PF were garbage.

Taj avg 12 and 7 in 33 minutes per game. That isn't all that productive.


Jabari is avg 16 and 7 in fewer minutes and everyone here thinks he stinks.

Taj also plays solid to great defense and doesn't need to shoot the ball all. He shot 60% from the field last season. He has been more productive this year too. You may want to take a look at PF across the league.

Jabari is a volume guy who has no interest in certain aspects of basketball. He definitely doesn't stink.
