Was he by any chance perusing a dog-eared copy of Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit to demonstrate for veganfan that he possesses the intellectual wherewithal required to be an NFL GM?

Ryan Pace was a smart and polished guy and he was a dreadful GM.

Poles could spout nonsense and show up to work in a stained white undershirt, but if he can assemble a Super Bowl team nobody would care.

No, but reports indicate he lined up his roasted potatoes in opposing rows of 5 then smashed them together to demonstrate the importance of line play to his date. I think we've got something here.

I don't think Pace was smart. He traded up from 3 to 2 to draft a guy nobody was targeting that early.

Pace was objectively stupid. Suggesting otherwise is objectively stupid.

He traded up to draft a Whitewater power forward.
