Juwan Howard has always seemed like a good guy to me. I have a friend who used to play pick up ball at the same courts as Kendall Gill and claims he's an a**hole. He never really supplied any evidence to support this view, though, except to say that Gill wouldn't let him play in his group. I think that's just because my friend isn't as good at hoops as he claims he is. I always get a kick out of bringing Gill's name up when I talk to this guy, though, because it almost always induces a profanity-laced tirade. Good stuff. |

Stephens was from Evanston. Took the Wildkits to the State tourney in the early 80s. Played for Purdue. Drafted in the 2nd round by the Nets. A contemporary of Wilson. |
