She seems like a pretty down to earth person. I think it was time to move on from Check Please. I thought it was a really great idea and actually checked out some of the non-pretentious, non-douchebag hipster-style restaurants and found some winners. That being said, I have no real motivation to go to her new restaurant. |

Would highly recommend the brussel sprouts and the lemon cheesecake though. The decor is amazing though -- I'll give them that. Saw Alpana on the way out... she was escorting patrons to and from the elevator. She looked exactly like what I was expecting. |
