I remember Chaune used to be on the CLTV sports call-in show once a week with registered sex offender Rob Goldman. It was appointment TV....

I replaced him on CLTV and did the show for four-plus years with Dawn Mitchell, Steve Kashul and Lou Canellis.
I got to meet many local and national athletes and media people. It was quite cool.
I also did the Friday night Sports Roundtable a number of times, including once with Matt Abattacola and Carmen DeFalco.

Take TAHT, Chaunce!!!!!

I didn't mean it that way at all, Ivan!

Sarley,

Whatever became of Chip Porter?

Chip built a salmon boat by hand and charters out of Kenosha.
He keeps a pretty low profile these days.
He won the Bob Uecker charity tournament the last two years it was held before Bob discontinued it.
It was a pretty prestigious tournament.
Chip Porter, of course, was the co-host (along with Mike Norris and/or Dan McNeill) back in the day, when The Score had a Saturday morning outdoor show.

I did not know der Schnore had an outdoors show. When was this? Early 90s? They should get another one. I need a place to call and debate Louie Spray's muskie record hoaxes.

Dale is a good friend.
Did you say "troll me" just to make a bad fishing pun?

No, I'm not that smart, Steve. In fact, I'd say that my brain is pretty crappie.

They really should get another one. It could be hosted by McNeil and bernstein. Big Danny could talk about what 8-tracks he brings with him to "Cottage" and li'l danny could put together some esoteric stats. Hey Sarley, what do you think Spence Petros' BARF (Bass Above Replacement Fisherman) is?

No offense, Boyd, but that sounds like some sort of code/slang that would be used on the old Forest Preserve Bathroom Scene.

Perch-chance that is another bad fishing pun?

Very good! I will ask him.

The word stems from fishing anyhow, like when you troll a lure behind a boat in an effort to induce an effortless catch.

Thank you, Professor Obvious!
