The Messiah was at a college game tonight. I thought he was taller.

He is. Around mere mortals such as yourself, he appears shorter so as not to draw attention. I bet you only noticed one set of footprints as well.

You should have bestowed him with much of your wisdom...

and if this Cubs team executes this plan and wins a World Series, Theo is gonna start a new religion....like it or not

I tried but I couldn't get past his posse. Besides he looked really busy just standing there talking and not writing anything down.

Just might....

Hey, I know the expectations of Theo are over the top and granted he has named the savior from the 1st day he snuck into a Starbucks (I was just at the Starbucks and it will be known as ground zero)

I dont fight any of the mocking, but if you are a GM and walk into the longest losing streak in pro sports and have "A PLAN" that everyone of us have heard in every sport for our entire lifetime and you change it all and win a ring...or 2 or 3...yes, you get your place at the top of the mountain....considering he also did it in Boston...

We have all heard the "Gonna break it down and then build it back up plan with rookies and then mix in veterans when the time comes" You can apply it to any team in any sport, but very very very few result in Championships...

Right now, you see Pitt and KC showing you the results of years of losing and getting top draft picks...are they great teams? No, but still very good.

preachin to the choir here. my only gripe was that they were saying it was going to be another year or two before they really started "trying." they had enough to go balls-in this year (as it has been shown). Bryant should have been up mid-year last year. don't worry about 6 years down the road.

I think it is still next year. Russell, Schwarber still need time...Schwarber in june or so....Maybe Baez comes back.....

They have demonstrated the willingness to drop money with the big boys, the question is now, where do you spend? Fowler has been fine, but if you have the chance for an elite leadoff hitter...and do you lock someone up thinking Almora is going to be that guys within 2 years?

Still plenty of questions with this team, but the talent is there/developing/coming and needs to be put in the right place.....much better than trying to find it elsewhere.

...but 6 comeback wins already! and played in the most 1 run games in MLB...

Also 2,3,4 right now is must watch TV...

Ewww. I can assure everyone I did not get anywhere near that close to him. The light was too bright.
