My D-bag nomination is for American Family Insurance and the dude with the annoying voice, Matthew Santos. His voice has given me a commercial I turn the dial faster than any of the Kars 4 Kidz ads. The commercial states something about how he's an aspiring singer trying to get on air or something. I hope I never have to hear your crappy crooning voice ever again!

He's better than a dying cow.
He's a local guy too. De Paul or something.

I am enjoying this new darker bigfan.
You're like the Coen brothers version of bigfan now.
You might get spotted putting Sinic in a wood chipper.

I find myself thinking of that first song from time to time. It is catchy.

The first one was bad, but you figure OK, it will be done soon....then the second version of the commercial came out and there is no way a sober or not high person thought that was good!

The first song is like a one hit wonder compared to the second one!

I don't remember if it's the first or second, but I did dig the bass line. His singing is whiny garbage though.

That can't be possible ...

Oooh, THAT one.

I suspect that if NSJ were raping a large cat while also strangling it, the noises would be considerably more melodic.

You win.

We joke about all the bad copy one hears in a typical WSCR stop set, but no copy is worse than just sitting back and letting this horse's ass make unearthly noises.

Hi, I'm Dan Tullis, and I just called -- JOEL CLARK -- one of Select Quote's term life insurance agents.

Buying term life insurance is as easy. Let's say you take antidepressants, or you smoke. All insurance companies are going to price that differently. Now we'll impartially shop all the companies we represent to get you the best rate return possible for you.

-Can you give me an example?

Sure. I just got a 40 year old man, on blood pressure medication, a $500,000 policy with a highly rated insurance company. His price? . . . Twenty dollars a month.

- Thank you Joel.

Honest to God, (if you believe in that sort of thing) I thought Dan Tullis was made up. Turns out, he was the featured cop on Married With Children. The more you know......

He's from Minnesota but went to school here, and has lived here since. Hooked up with Lupe Fiasco to do a few songs, you might remember "Superstar".

I asked him about the commercial songs, the second one in particular, and he said "I apologize on the play frequency of that commercial, I hear it's been rubbing some wrong."

Are commercials eligible for ToB? If so, these are a lock.

Once would have been too many. I like a lot of sensitive singer-songwriter bullshit, but I have NO PATIENCE for that stupid song.

Also covered in the "Commercials that make me want to kill" thread. Both very applicable.

Just annoying on every level. Voice like nails on a chalkboard. Second commercial way worse than the first and that is saying something.
