From the start, his story didn't add up. But the Media sure ate it up, because it involved an opportunity to cast blame for an "attack" on not just a minority, but a gay one, who has been very critical of President Trump to boot. They hit the trifecta! Gotta run with it. No need to be sure the facts are credible, just go with it, because it fits our narrative so well. I am sure they will NOT crucify Smollet for having perpetrated this hoax, as they did the "alleged attackers" who were said to be white, bigoted Trump supporters, because each time they talk about this now, it will be a reminder of how badly they screwed up in the first place. I have to give some credit to Al Sharpton, who has stated that he hopes that Jussie Smollet (if it is proven he manufactured this hoax) will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
