for starters. there are bad parts of rock island but there aren't hardly any bars there. We are foster parents here locally, i wonder if i know this guy somehow.

thats quite a lot for a dcfs worker here. (i don't know which dept he actually works for) i know a guy who is a investigator/case worker who has been doing it for almost 25 years who doesn't make 90k a year. i was very intrigued when we took our first child in and began asking him a ton of questions as to why he does what he does. it certainly wasn't money. he said he makes about 55-60k per year.

by the way, if he's an investigator in scott county (IOWA) he can't really be in Illinois with a "file". as in, if he's staking out a house or making a visit, he can't do that across state lines by himself.
