does this construction get more people to take the cta/metra?

The Northwest Line is adding more trains, which may not necessarily got delayed for three hours when people use them to kill themselves.

That's fucking funny

Know what's not...today at 10:15 it would take you 90 minutes to go from O'hare to downtown

For real, though, don't use Metra to kill yourself unless it's a Department of Irony thing like Phil Pagano.

What's the most convenient way to commit suicide?

Whichever way doesn’t result in my sitting on a stopped train for 2hrs within eyeshot of my house.

Really? Travel times from O'Hare to Downtown (16 miles) were often 90 plus minutes...how far is your commute? Because mine is a good 50 miles and it was fuuuuuucked up....not to mention that GPS had no idea of the reverseables..(which will not exist for the better part of this year)...commuting in this region is definitely affected by one's locale...

So, starting Monday no Reverse ables (or however you fucking spell it) and additional closures down to ONE LANE after 9 pm

Sounds awful. I’ll think about you and smile as I drink my 2nd cup of coffee while in my pjs as I wait for the laptop to fire up.

It sounds like a Northside problem. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell the difference between the west suburbs and everything north of North Avenue.
