Nope, it's that people are vindictive assholes.

They want to act like the moral arbiters in order to feel better about themselves.

Nothing makes me feel better about myself than some good old fashioned victim blaming.

If you forget to lock the door to your home or cut on the alarm and someone robs your home or assaults your family no one with a brain would blame you. If you left your wallet in the glove compartment of your car and someone broke in and stole it no one with a brain would blame you. If this lady left her son in the car to run into the store to buy blunts, a 40 or crack no one with a functioning brain should blame her because 3 evil assholes stole her car and shot her baby in the fucking head. She wasn't asking for it. Focusing on the victim is dumb.

Just because 312 loves his child more than leash does his, does not mean that leash is a bad parent. Just a mediocre one.

Honestly tho, I think there would be people who blame you for each of the examples you've provided. I def blame the three bad dudes who killed the kid more than I'll ever blame the mom tho. Btw, why's it gotta be blunts, a 40, or crack? Wtf man?

I spent my money on the Clapgo D-29, it's the most impenetrable lock on the market today. It has only one design flaw: the door...must be CLOSED.

That's a major flaw

except she was basically asking for it. 1:30 am and was in the store for 10 minutes. Did I read here that she left the car running? If that's the case she should not only be blamed, she should be charged alongside her 3 co-defendants.

And you're a successful lawyer with bad thoughts like this. That means every victim is at fault because they all could have done something different. Lincoln could have ducked.

That's not how logic works. Unless you're saying Lincoln committed a criminal and/or extremely irresponsible act by not ducking.

if she left her 5 year old home alone and the house burned down? Yes, I would be blaming her for that as well.

But at least in that scenario she could look forward to Casey Afleck one day playing her in the movie.

That's the total "Manchester by the Sea" scenario.

Hmmm:

But at an afternoon news conference, Hinds County Sheriff Victor Mason said a deputy stationed at the Kroger saw Archie exit the store at about 2:30 a.m. She approached the deputy and said her car was missing, but did not initially report that her son was inside, Mason said.

Pretty odd, no?

Really fucking weird - 1.5 hours pass, and you don't say anything about YOUR KID?

Security video shows that after Archie left her car about 1 a.m., another car drove up and a man got out and then drove off in her Camry. Frazier was in the back seat.

Also, 2nd article says she was buying some 1AM party supplies for his kindergarten graduation, but first article claims she was buying "medicine". Which is it? The supermarket cam and cash registers will tell the truth, though.
