This guy is a bullshitter or the highest order. You hear him talk pre and postgame in the playoffs like he is a guy who has done and seen it all rather than a coach with a .500 playoff record and no championships. He is on the journey for the first time as much as any of them but he acts like he is above it all.

He's a verbose mfer who amazes guys like Jesse Rogers with his intelligence. Then the Jesse types get on the air to tell us of his genius and after repeating it enough times, it becomes accepted as fact.

He's like the "wise old sage" in a movie who teaches his pupils lessons using his accomplishments as examples, then at the end you find out he never actually accomplished what he says he did.

I might not agree entirely that IMU could step into a GM office today but I do think he could step into a field manager's office and perform competently

I didn't watch an inning of the game yesterday as I had a free screening of Hacksaw Ridge. In fact, I have only watched one game in full. I was on my way home yesterday and heard his pre game press conference and was thinking, do people actually believe him?

in all honesty, I think that Joe is a good manager of people and moods. He's not been the greatest in game manager this series. I assume he leans on Davy for that stuff anyway. Batting Montero instead of Schwarber, bringing Chapman in for 3 innings at a time, that stuff I disagree with, even though it worked out. Tito Jr. has outmanaged him for the most part.
