Heyward in the 6 hole, really?? You fuckin Dbag prick...it took you 4 months to move him out of the 2 hole ...I don't care if he's the highest paid player on the team or in franchise history..he needs to bat 9th when there is a DH and 8th when playing NL rules.. |

Well....we know a good Cubs team has blown a 7 game lead before....but more recently, I've also seen a very good Sox team nearly blow a 15 game lead....so this game could be really important in the standings. I doubt the Cubs will have much trouble winning the division, but if you have the chance to win at this point in the season, you have to take it. Two months left. |

Make no mistake about it, this being a national game influenced Maddon. He wanted to show the world how smart he was. Yeah, they won. But this win might cost them 2 or 3 losses. Cuz he was warming up Lackey. Who knows if that will effect him for his next start. And he made an over taxed Rondon go 2 innings. But it was the big Sunday night national game. So Maddon couldn't resist. |
