Every fucking day from 2pm to 10pm there are panels of 4 to 8 people straight bitching at each other about Clinton/Trump. Fucking horrible. Zero resolution about any topic. This isn't news.

I guess I just miss Jon Stewart more than anything to bring some brevity to this media shit show.

Seriously, turn this shit on right now and be a witness to "journalism".

Journalism died a long, long time ago. The 3rd Estate is no more.

It's now simply a propaganda wing of the UniParty and the elites. Narrative shaping and history rewriting at its finest, Open Society and all that.

Good luck!

Believe me, I'm well aware of the DOA status of journalism. I flip around to all 3 of the big news networks, and it's all bullshit. It's all been bullshit for decades at this point.

Like I said, I just miss the good version of the daily show.

The 24 hour news cycle killed "journalism."

Did I miss something?

If you go to bing.com and search "CNN", this description comes up:

"The Trump News Network is a biased Donald Trump loving basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by the Turner Broadcasting System division of Time Warner..."

Maybe it's a hack? I'm dumb so maybe I just don't get it.

I was trying to figure out what your 'bit' was, and then decided to fall for your gag whatever it was ... and I'll be damned, you're not doing a bit.

What do you mean it's not news?? According to their crawl, they are continuously BREAKING NEWS.

Of course the breaking news is almost always just a repeat of a quote from the person they are currently interviewing...but still

I think this one perfectly encapsulates the bias of all 3.

cnn has this video on their front page

"Paul Ryan, reporter spar over memo"

https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/201 ... sot-nr.cnn

my question is does CNN even realize how dumb their reporter looks in this exchange?

Probably not. Ryan explained it perfectly well.

Score another one against the "I can't wait to see Repubs explain THIS" crowd.

Almost as good as the "Wait until [Russia hacked the election; Candidate Trump told Flynn to contact Russians; Moscow Pee Parties; Manafort was a Russian agent; State Dept. diplomats resigned; Trump Jr. was offered DNC emails before publication] is proven and watch Trumpets try to deny it" routine.

I check news on cnn and fox news everyday.... get the two extremes. it's always entertaining how the same story can be presented in two totally different ways.

What I don't get from either channel is actual news. I instead get opinion hosts lecturing or panels arguing over nonsense. I have to turn to BBC World to get the actual news.

Yeah, very few watch TV for 'news.' You get straight news on the internet. For those channels, people are tuning in for recognizable personalities and opinions. As soon as Youtube, Twitch, Amazon or Facebook hire popular pundits debating politics, you'll find people going there for their commentary.

And then you have those that go to Drudge Report that don't want any little bit of real news at all.
