Hideous looking building. Rest of the grounds look nice.

That's going to cause traffic hell for us & anyone on the Dan Ryan.

And that is one ugly building. What in the hell happened to Chicago architects? Have they all been sent to the kids' table after the corrosive effects of the Helmut Jahn experience?

One of the "newer" divisions at County Jail DOES seem to be an influence

Right on top of a track facility the cps/park district spent a few million on not too long ago.

Holy tamale waters, that thing looks awful. Like, if you posted that sans trees but kept the ghostly people and said it was a piece of art based on a building in Chernobyl that had been built in the mid-60s you could get quite a few people buying it for at least a few minutes.

I'd rather have the Lucas museum.

Great Chicago architecture died with Mies van der Rohe

Closing roads??....I'm sure the mayor will sign off on that pretty quickly for his buddy.

Beyond the center itself, one of the biggest changes for the community is the plan to close Cornell Drive between 60th and 67th streets, a major thoroughfare that links South Lake Shore Drive, Stony Island Avenue and the Chicago Skyway.

It looks like that overbuilt rest stop on 90 between Madison and the Dells, near Portage.

damn near burtalism

A shame, too, because Jackson Park is probably Chicago's most beautiful park. Was there every day in high school....just gorgeous. Rather dangerous in places, but beautiful.

It looks like some kind of an ancient Inca Empire structure.
