His live read of that Max and Benny's spot during Hit and Run is one of the worst ever. The copy is clunky and bad and Bruce absoulutely butchers it .

Is he still pushing trading for Samardzija?

I don't understand the fascination.

On with M&H just a little while ago...

Hanley asks how the Q trade will affect guys like Lackey and Arrieta as it really spells out the end for them on the Cubs.

Levineline goes into the long diatribe about how Jake Arrieta is a winner, how he has been a key member of back to back playoff teams, and that if he comes to the free ajent market as a guy who was the first NL team to repeat at World Series Champs since the 70s, it would only enhance his value. Right before this horse shit, he claimed that the Cubs won the Q trade.

STFU and take the Cubs dick out of your mouth for a second. The Cubs and Jake have been bad all year. They might win the division, but this is not a Championship team this year. How this guy still has a job is beyond me.

Bruce has been pimping for Samardzija from day one. It was embarrassing to listen to him try to drive up Samardzija's price when he was approaching free agency. It was even worse than how Rozner tried to do it for Maddux back in the day. It was almost like he was his agent.

Yes, Levine always has a Cubs dick in his mouth. yes, the Cubs won the Q trade, but so did the White Sox. Both teams received what they were looking for. I do not think the Cubs will win the division....I think the Brewers will hold them off, but I do see the Cubs making the playoffs. Once the playoffs start....it's start over time and the Cubs will only need 3 legit starting pitchers. Lester, Q, and Hendricks could handle that just fine. Arrietta has been dogshit all year. I don't care if he's a "winner"....he isn't a winner in 2017. Arrietta cost his free agency payday by holding out...it happens. Lavine wrong here, but that's no surprise.
