It's a shame to think that the office he used to hold has been subject to such cruel ridicule of both him as well as Atty. Gen. Lamarr (that's HEDLEY!) - the man who tried to save an important railroad project at Rock Ridge and was ultimately the last casualty of the movie. |

Denied. He knew LaMarr was trying to redline the residents of Rock Ridge, but Gov. went along with his plans, knowing full well the sheriff LaMarr designated to fail was actually capable of saving the day. It's unfortunate that the legacy of a good man is being tarnished because of the actions and political views of an overzealous underling. |
