Shut up, dumbass. I think society's largest problem is multi-million dollar pitchers who can't throw a ball to first base.

I, for one, think our society has far, far, far bigger problems as to where we are as a society at the moment than some dude getting momentarily internet famous because he lost his ballpark concessions, but Lester is allowed his very crotchety opinion.

So what is the standard for useful thoughts here - saying what one "thinks," even if what you think is dumb as fuck, or something else? If there's any backlash against Lester, it certainly wouldn't be because he had the audacity to say something he believed in - it would be because what he ostensibly believed in is dumb.
