After 15 years, I dropped my season tickets this year. In the past, I could always get rid of my tix at at least face value if I couldn't go to a game.

Tix for the Christmas Eve matchup versus the Browns are currently going for $30. Face value is about $110.

This is starting to hit the McCaskeys in the wallet--games aren't selling out, 10,000+ no shows at games last year...they will panic if this continues, because they don't have any other source of income. The whole family sucks at the Bears teets- just a few years ago a George was in charge of tickets--if I called with a question, he'd pick up the phone.

Have hated ownership since they moved out of Wrigley Field where I sat with my dad and if I leaned 30 degrees to my left I was looking down the 50 yard line. My sis has the tickets now and they sit on the 46-47. Fuck that. Went to one pre season game at Soldier Field way back in the day and never again. Hate the place.

You also have to figure that the secondary-market crowd that comes to late-season, long-since-out-of-it Bears games is, uh, a bit less genteel than the season ticketholder base they like to think they've cultivated. Not a lot of potential Cadillac buyers.
