Boy Scouts, Catholic Church altar boys, now nickelodeon. maybe they should immediately disqualify anyone who voluntarily applies to work in these places from working there. you'd have to be a pedo or batshit insane to be a dude and wanna hang around other people's snot-nosed brats all day.

maybe draft/force/sentence normal adults busted for like speeding to work with kids as community service to staff these places.

Parents had to have some notion something's up. grew up in a big catholic family in a small catholic parish. the only one of us four brothers who was ever an altar boy was my oldest brother for a minute, after that, never again.

and I recall another time we had a new teacher--female in this case--move into town to teach. she rented a house like a block from the school and started having students over to her house after school on the regular. I had to be in maybe 4th grade. The one time I got lured over there by friends who said it was cool, my mom showed up pounding at this teacher's front-door. my mom chased all of us kids outside and shut the door. teacher left town not long after.

Yep. That doctor would be fingering these young girls claiming it was to treat back pain sometimes while the parents were in the next room or even in the same room behind a curtain.

I grew up in a Catholic family as well. I was an altar boy for a few years. Fortunately, I was not abused. I did not have to pull an Ed Norton in Primal Fear.

One of my favorite teachers in high school left our school after I graduated. He moved down to Florida, and we found out a couple years later he was caught at that school having sex with one of the students in the closet of the school. Served 12 years for it.

Females naturally gravitate toward teaching young kids (because they are ten times better than men at dealing with kids), but it has nothing to do with biology. It's just the patriarchy telling them what they can and cannot do.

Well, I doubt there is much of a natural ability to be an elementary education teacher. There are a lot of social pressures that do steer men and women to different careers. Just think about what men and women weren't supposed to do 50 or 100 years ago. It makes it hard to think that any career where a man just can't do it is actually a career a man can't do. There are obviously different strengths and weaknesses but I think a motivated man could be a pretty good caregiver.

I agree. There are also women who would be horrible at it. But I think the odds of a woman being better, especially at very young ages, is better. Think about when your kid was born. You have any idea what the hell to do? I didn't. But my wife just naturally knew how to take care of a kid.

The big difference was that my wife had been a babysitter when she was younger but I was watching him on my own 7 weeks in with really no issues.

I taught 1st grade a couple years. The kids were great and liked me well enough.

It is really amusing though. For years the media has taken great enjoyment in reporting on the sexual problems of certain people. Mainly republican politicians and right leaning celebrities while dismissing or looking the other way with others.

Now with the internet and the "movement culture" that exists the mainstream media can no longer control the monster they actually helped create.

We have seen this in many arenas and subjects not the least of which was the last election cycle. Anyway, no one is safe anymore or shielded when the animal gets rolling. The left in particular are no longer safe in their old ways.
