Picked this issue up and saw that.

Talk about bad timing.

Well that’s unfortunate.

Somehow I got in their mailing list. Well, my dad did but it’s my email for some reason. Between that, wounded warrior and boys and girls club of Chicago asking for a meet and greet, I finally asked my Dad if he was giving my email out to piss me off. He acted surprised. I’m not sure if he was in drama class or not but I’m not sure I’m buying this.

I mean if you're a hunter and traveling this still makes sense. I think the vast majority of gun owners want to remain as inconspicuous as possible when moving their weapons just to avoid the potential for drama or confrontation.

No time for chit-chat when you want to shoot up a thousand people or so. Understandable.

yeah, gun owners are typically non-confrontational sorts that avoid drama

Clearly you should still be wearing the sport coat from the plane ride.

Maybe instead of spending $270 on a bag you should spend more money to get a hotel room you don't think you need a "defensive rifle" to feel safe in.

In its defense it is also a full sized garment bag. I could see someone using it as a bag without guns.

The molle lined compartment for the gun could be repurposed to hold fishing gear for example.

You guys would be surprised how many guys combine a work trip out west with a hunting trip. A little different but if you ever landed in western IA or SD during pheasant season you would be shocked at the hunters, guns and crated bird dogs arriving.

recently stayed at hellhole place in El Paso. wouldn't have minded a handgun next to me. rifle seems too unwieldy for close-in combat.

It's designed to mount either two pistols or a short barrel rifle.

The luggage was designed for FBI HRT so they would have compact tac rifles.

Yeah, Nebraska and Kansas too, Montana during big game season was crazy in the mid 90’s.

I have to head out to North of Omaha soon fir one of these trips. Might try to fit in some bird hunting with my Dad and brother.

OK. I could have used that to kill a giant spider I saw in the bathtub.
