Wow, I'm getting a lot of undeserved grief. My point was, I clicked on an article and read it. It was a link on my "US News" on myYahoo homepage. I did not vet the source--I don't know whether it was Fox, CNN, Reuters, whomever. I typically don't really consider the source when it's on a page where I get some of my news from, like Yahoo. Plus, Yahoo leans left and constantly has anti-Trump article on my feed, so I did not suspect Fake News. That does not mean it was Fake News. This woman did alter the yearbook page that she initially said had been written by Moore. She now states he wrote the inscription, and she added the date and restaurant. So, it is not a "forgery," as Fox claimed, but it is not an authentic, unaltered Moore inscription as she had initially represented. All that said, I think Moore is scumbag. But when accusers misrepresent small details and then get called out, it makes their entire claim suspect. Again, I still think Roy Moore is a scumbag. I'm deeply offended by the JDC reference.

I told you before that I did business with a lot of your neighbors 10 to 15 years ago. For the most part they liked me as long as I pretended minority issues didn't exist. Just from my hours of conversations I don't necessarily think they are extremely conservative. They're more prideful than anything. They love their country and way of life. Like most people they tend to RESIST change.

It won’t help them because the reality is that a global economy has made their skills worth virtually nothing. But they’re still allowed to hope even if it’s a futile effort... just as people in the inner city are. |
