Bump.

Latest iOS update now throttles back the battery on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, and I have seen a significant decrease in battery life.

I've had the phone for just over a year. Might be time to go to the Pixel 2.

This is really going to be a black eye for Apple...some are reporting that battery supplies may not be ready for months. And when you consider that there are millions of eligible phones for the $29 replacement and only 500 Apple stores worldwide (the only place you can have them officially replaced), simple math dictates it could be a LONG time before people get their batteries.

This is why I keep buying Android phones with replaceable batteries.

I got a free iphone 6S battery replacement in August because supposedly there was some defect with the lot or something. It never popped up in the 2 years I had it, but it needed a new battery anyway.

Production of the iPhone X likely to be cancelled in the summer due to less-than-anticipated sales.

Shocking that being expensive wasn't viewed as a must have feature.

Pretty much this. Apple is evil insomuchas they treat their marks, erm, customers with contempt. Go look up error 43 or whatever.. they're so worried about their marks jailbreaking their phones or having more capabilities than the "walled garden" allows that they'll literally brick your phone and cut you off from 1-2yrs of photos/media JUST so they can say "shoulda used our cloud service" and I bet if you read the EULA on that they have the right to do whatever they want with your stuff and profit off of it without cutting you in at all

And hey where did the fappening cone from? Oh yeah, the apple cloud. And they're trying to force everyone to use that because they want all your stuff... At least Google's discrete about it snd you don't hear about major problems with them, but then again idk how sweet brin looks in a black turtleneck so who cares.

this dude will tell you. He runs a computer/phone repair place in Manhattan so you know he's good and this video breaks it down really nice in ~14mins

Plus you know jobs was an edge lord when his first computer was $666.66 and his logo is literally original sin. Wozniak was the guy who did the real shit to get them started, snd when he got money he was like "hey let's have a computers + music festival in the 80s!" --- jobs was busy disowning his first wife and first daughter like "hey I named a failure of a computer after you... Go away" and when (I thanked God that) he got cancer and withered away and died his fucking drones left roses outside of the apple store? Dude jobs would hate you if he knew you and his company treats you with contempt like they're divinely mandated to get Maxx money out of you so like... You're leaving HIM roses? Jesus Christ almighty this is why I'm up $15 and a free iPhone 3G 16GB on Apple. . They ain't ever getting my money.

Samuel L...any thoughts? https://youtu.be/sMGMZsKXz94
