One of the least likable characters on the show.

Who was likable? The whole point of the show was how detestable everyone in this world was.

He tried to kill his own nephew! Twice! Well, one-and-a-half times if you're being generous.

I think Melfi was the most noble on the show. Despite treating a sociopath, something she was told multiple times couldn't be done with talk therapy, she never allowed herself any of the spoils that might come from treating one of the most powerful gangsters in the country.

Even Cus loved bragging about knowing/treating a mobster.

If we’re saying who the most likable character would be IRL it’s gotta be Carmela’s dad.

Johnny Sacrimoni was likeable. Artie was likable. Carmine Jr... Johnny Cakes... there were a few.

Artie was a scumbag and Little Carmine was a fucking genius who would have been too dumb to exist outside the life he was born into.

We aren't comparing them to Mr. Rogers here -- compared to the folks they were with. Yes, both those guys were a few cups short of a gallon, but in the arena they were in, you had to feel bad for them because they were so unprepared for what they were doing.

You're right, I just get my defenses up about the anti-hero dramas because so many people fall into "Tony Soprano/Don Draper/Walter White's a fuckin' pimp, dude" talk and then I have to read about how the shows were Actually Bad because too many rubes didn't get it. You knows how it goes.

Walter White was a total dipshit. All he had to do was go into the basement of a laundry and make meth and not act like a fucking asshole and pocket millions a year. That wasn't good enough for old Walter. He wanted the world to know he was a scientific genius.

Steven Van Zandt routinely gave one of the greatest comedic performances of all time on that show. Every moment featuring his lower-lipped brooding is hilarious.

Now he's back on stage, impersonating a grandma with cancer:

Silvio Dante is ridiculous in kind of the same way Saul Goodman is. But he definitely has some moments, like when he chases Adriana from the car. The scene when they know the shit is going down with New York and he and Tony kind of shadowbox each other is great too.

I'm glad I'm married, but if I was single, I don't think I would eat vaj unless I knew for sure that a girl did not have HPV or the Herp, etc.

Its just not worth the Michael Douglas-esque ramifications.
