He does a lot of retroactive theoretical radio. "The callers were pretty mad last week so I didn't bring it up, but I think that Mack's ankle is worse than he is letting on" type stuff. He is a very dependable fill in guy though for sure.

I like Hub even though he throws digs at the great Commander in Chief. I don't like Twitter Julie but like her show when she's not sjw-ing.

Let's not swoon so hard for Hub. He's been temporarily humbled but deep down he is the guy thinking "where did you play your ball". He spent decades being the dismissive corporate shill and I suspect that guy is lurking in the shadows waiting for a return call from the Bears.

Wgn was really straight laced back then. No nipple talk. Everybody working now at the score is a Cubs shill. So why single out Hub.

Hub wasn't just a shill back in his glory days. He was the guy who looked at the fan as unworthy of even being on his phone lines. I'm supposed to believe that he has completely changed his ways and is now the friend of the people holding Chicago teams accountable.

Hub got crucified when he took calls on the wgn coaches shows. Dick jaron "we want big chunks of yards". It was classic radio. Hub was a Mike McCaskey cabana boy. Then, he was getting paid by the Bear's and wgn.. What would you do? Jeopardize your paycheck?

There is a slight sioftspot for Hub thst goes back to the three man Beats booth he was part of. Every Sunday my dad would turn the tv volume down and the radio on so we had to deal with the two second delay. After a while, I just grew accustomed to it.

I don’t mind him in small doses but the Coach shows he did... he was an ass.

Hub misses his New Trier buddy Mike Pyle, now that guy Pyle, he was a talent.
