I don't like zoos, that male got zero exersize. He was 10( old) and got food fed to him his whole life. A lioness can choke out a water buffallo. Not surprised she choked out an old male lion who never hunted in his life or got in a fight.

We went to some local thing with wolves down in Lockport last year. I thought they were going to be out in a wooded, large fenced area. Instead, they had wolves, tigers, and a bear (and other, smaller herbivores) in small cages pacing back and forth. One of the wolves looked malnourished and paced with his tail tucked completely between his legs. The tigers were clearly not healthy. It was terrible to see. We left pretty quickly, as I didn't want my daughter to spend too much time at the animal version of Auschwitz.

Sort the reviews by worst rating and read some of the low reviews. The website claims that the animals they get can either live like this or be euthanized. Personally, I think euthanizing them would be more humane.

That's the shithole, I know the owners brother.. He's a chicago fireman by me.. He talked me into checking it out 10 years ago.. So depressing, I asked the owner if I could take his bobcat and release it by Kankakee when I go fishing down there the next day.. Dude was appalled I asked him that. We didn't get along and I told him These animals were better off dying in the wild than being prisoners on his ranch. My visit was short and I told his brother Lee when I seen him what a selfish dumb ass his brother is.
