I think he watched that clip with Dana White f-bombing peloton and thought he’d get the same reaction the simp podcaster gave White, only he said it to a DealBook conference crowd that can’t conceive of anything more important than chasing their next dollar. |

The story of most of the Musk success is what happens AFTER the initial production of the vehicle. He puts an enormous amount of money into the building of the plants and factories he builds to produce the products he designs and doesn't try to retrofit the product around the limitations of an already built factory or an assembly process limited in functionality. Basically this explains why his initial pricing of his products is mostly higher than what his competitors offer but where he absolutely kills the competitors is the leagues better efficiency of the manufacturing process itself when he gets to scale as well as the corollary or separate products that get created out of the predecessor products. |

He knows he paid too much for Twitter and theres no path to profitability. The best thing that can happen is bankruptcy. It will give Twitter more publicity, it will be a martyr, and he will only have to pay off a tiny portion of the 44 billion and still get to stay in control. |

As for the "inconvenience cost", hard to put a price value on that, right? Insurance cost is also an unknown I think. Just looking at the design of it and low center of gravity and protective shell, I would guess that the odds of living through a bad crash or avoiding serious injury probably would be better when compared to a typical pick-up truck? Just a thought. |
