I eat a lot of non native food and I'm still not sure what it means to appropriate culture or a specific cuisine, etc. Does this mean only Mexicans can cook "Mexican food," ignoring for a moment that there isn't a uniform "Mexican" cuisine anyway? well when it comes down to making the contestant's signature dish, 1 of them always makes the dish in a traditional style, and the other one does something wacky, deconstructs it, etc. You can usually tell based on that who's going to win.

Pork can be very underrated. Its versatile, tasty, and much more economical than most beef products. Most steaks are indeed great, but a well prepared pork chop can be stacked up against any cut of meat from any animal and hold its own.

The Hog Wild pork chop is pretty damn good. It's definitely worth it to stop by if you're in the area. The best meal I have ever had on Disney property was the pork chops at Be Our Guest. They were so tender I was able to cut them with a butter knife.
