He's pretty good on the Golden Globes, but I tend to agree when it comes to his stand up material. It seems more mean spirited than clever.

Maybe I’m just an asshole, but I like it.

I think there’s a place for that type of comedy as well.

I’m starting to worry KD is a Hannah Gadsby fan.

The New York Times continues to be an embarrassment. It’s the fault of the pandemic. And America is intolerant. That’s why Will Smith was violent.

I think I’ve seen the entire spectrum of social media idiocy play out on peoples FB walls “weighing in” on this incident like it’s the Kennedy assassination. And each one thinks they’re Edward R. Murrow.

I wish he was funnier, we could use more clever, dismissive, and funny atheists, but no. People hear a British accent and they’re quick to overrate anything that comes out someone’s mouth. He’s funny on Life’s Too Short though.

Speaking of British accents though, I’d take Sacha Baron Cohen hosting any time, not that I think any big Hollywood show would risk it.

This would be prime WYC material because it is mostly true and really dated, but I would give you the thumbs up for it.

One of the first things people think of when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's name is brought up is his vicious blindside sucker-punch.
That will be kept in mind whenever he plays god and speaks about anything.

This is probably the first time any sports fan has uttered this opinion in public. For good reasons.

His 2020 Golden Globes monologue is the standard for award ceremonies. He is much funnier than Craig Ferguson.

Life is Short has its moments but I had to give up on it. Too depressing.

The slap really overshadows the incoherence of his speech: he needs to protect his movie family because he played Richard. He needs to protect the Williamses even though they have Richard because he was in a movie where he played Richard. He also needs to protect his own family.

That Scientology makes people into megalomaniacs, like when Cruise thinks he knows everything about psychology.

That front row was packed with scientologists.

He's the same on that show as he is the Golden globes. Everybody is a kunt.

it was obviously a work to borrow a term from the wrestling section, but once i heard that will and captain cueball have open relationship and mon capitan has been on podcasts bragging about banging jaden (that's the male kid. they did a weird gender-swap things for the names. i think will has known shit got weird for a long fucking time. why do you think he flirted with scientology? the dude who rapped on homebase aint gunna deal with too much bullshit unless he has to) so in order to keep the family together and make it seems like will still gives a damn about his family he hit up chris rock who was down for some free publicity, will gave him his best worked slap and the rest is on TV. works for me.

seriously tho, when i heard about jada banging her son's friends YOU DAMN WELL KNOW that when the bitch wanted to open up the relationship BIG WILLIE STYLE made her pay. you damn well fucking know that if you're at some regular/ish spot somewhere and the fucking willennium walks through the door, even tho we all laughed our asses off at the willennium at the time he still did i robot afterwards and well, suffice to say that i'm sure will's original move was like "oh you wanna open up pandora's box bitch? watch this" so jada on a podcast bragging about banging her son's friends while will sits in the background just like "yep.... yep..." --- see will smith always struck me as a classy dude so you know he aint gotta go on some podcast and brag about his recent sexual conquests. this ain't IRC in the early-mid 90s you can't get away with it no matter how cool your big ol ASCII signature is. when his busted ass (literally and figuratively) wife who he prolly wishes 2pac was still around to deal with is doing it.... look at that he just sit there and took it and ACTED like he was the loser in that situation. shit there's a pay per view i'd watch.... WILL SMITH: OPEN SEASON. THE OL HOUND IS BACK ON THE PROWL AND THIS TIME HE'S FLIRTING WITH BILLIONS.... GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 i would watch the fuck out of that. jada's adventures in existential pussy-having-dom? not so much.

I find it interesting that both Shannon Sharpe and Bomani Jones agree that Smith was vehemently in the wrong. I didn't think those two would agree on much of anything.

steve harvey called it a hollywood move on will smith's part, claiming that in the streets you dont turn your back to someone after you strike them. i am inclined to agree.

Now the Academy is leaking to the press that, actually, yes we did ask Will to leave the ceremony after the slap, but he refused to do so, and so instead of having security remove him we let him walk back up on stage and accept his award like normal?

Apparently it's racist to play the song Africa when the presenters are black.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movie ... 235119925/

Funny that the final sentence notes that the production crew was 100% black.

If you really think about it the Smith Rock altercation was the most traumatic racist incident we've seen in the past 30 years.

No offense but This isn’t really a thing. Quoting “some” to make a point is just click-bait.
