No plastic bags. Bread is in a plastic bag, toilet paper, paper plates, meat is wrapped in plastic, I could go on and on.

Are they stupid stupid, or just stupid?

Eight states now have plastic bag bans. I'm sure Gov. Lardo and the corrupt Illinois legislature will join soon. Pointless law. Forces people to buy bags at the store.

Trader Joe's paper bags are great because you can throw your recycling in them, unlike plastic bags.

It's not that hard to bring reusable bags to the grocery store. That said, Evanston's ordinance is obnoxious.

Recycling is far from efficient, but sure go with that.

We were in Colorado a few weeks back and they seem to have a similar ban... I mean they charged 10 cents for a bag. But most people in the grocery store had reusable bags with them and I gotta say that's not terrible.

The balcks use them as garbage bags for every small garbage bag in the house. There's a drawer in every balck kitchen filled with these bags.
